The analog announced today that the release of the upcoming handheld bag has been postponed once again. Originally scheduled to start sending at several points by 2020, the pocket was first pushed back to May 2021 and again to several points in October. With September here and October on the horizon, analogues have announced a delay for the Handheld FPGA which is very awaited.
“Pocket Pre-Order will be sent no later than December,” analog wrote on his website today. “Unfortunately, because of new Covid restrictions with our assembly partners, their capacity to fulfill in our agreed time has been affected. This has created a domino effect of delay outside our control on what should be a smooth process.”
Outside the pre-order delivery in December no later than, analogues say that the pocket and its accessories will be recharged after the holiday season and will be “immediate delivery.” What is not known is whether there will be another pre-order phase before the store is recharged following a vacation.
Analog says that it sends everyone who ordered an email pocket – maybe with this information – so if it’s you, make sure to check your inbox. It also sounds like those in advance can get full refunds for their orders if they don’t want to wait for the bag to be launched.
For retro collectors games, pocket is a handheld that is fun because it is built on two FPGAs and can play many handheld games. Outside the box, the pocket supports Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and the Boy Advance Games game, but there is also an adapter that will allow him to play Gear Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, and Atari Lynx Games. We will notify you when analogs share more about pocket launches, so stay here for additional details.
